Dunscroft U12 Girls 2 vs Adwick Park Rangers U12 Girls 7 (26th October 2024)
A late kick off away at Dunscroft with a bare 9 players, missing our rock at the back and both goalkeepers didn’t prove too much of a daunting task for APR.
Imogen got back to doing what she does best following a Lily assist. Bobbi-Marie rattled the woodwork twice in the first half before scoring a double, duly assisted by Eva B and Lily. In a game of fairly spectacular goals APR cleared there defensive lines with Pearl playing in Lily who ran the full length of the pitch to finish calmly.
During the second half APR showed more control in the opponents half with Bobbi-Marie scoring a pretty special solo run. Georgia then made the assist of the game with a chip pass over the Dunscroft defenders head into Imogen’s path to score in the bottom corner. Gracie continued to make short sprints to close down attackers and Pearl joined in with play, always being an option for midfield.
Lily ensured player of the match status for her relentless attacking by scoring her second of the game following Georgia’s corner. A shout out to the keepers today Evie and Eva C who deputised very bravely for Kya and Ella, and also marshalled the defence well in Mels absence.
